Bois 1920 is a brand of artisanal perfumes from Florence that expresses the Galardi family's passion for the art of perfume making - which is passed on from one generation to the next.

The story all started in 1920 when the grandfather Guido Galardi started experimenting the first formulas in his small workshop in Florence. He started collecting the "Spigo" (lavander flowers) that ripen on the Florentine hills. His endeavor blends several expressive features: essential oils, fragrance solutions, perfumed sachets.

All these characteristics inspire and shape the Bottega Italiana Spigo 1920 (BOIS 1920) brand, which over the years acquires a worldwide importance, together with recognized rewards. In 2012, Bois 1920 was selected as one of the five best olfactory expressions at the FiFi Awards (the Oscars of perfumery) in New York.
