It cannot be washed in hot water as it will be damaged. Therefore, silk is usually washed in room temperature water and it is best to use neutral detergent. When washing at 30 degrees, the pillowcase is still cleaned, even if it is not washed at 60+ degrees. Due to the silver ion technology, the fabric retains 99.7% antibacterial properties and does not need to be washed at high temperatures to kill bacteria. Hand wash in lukewarm water with a pH neutral detergent. Do not tumble dry. Hang to dry. Do not try to wring out. Instead, gently roll out with a towel.
